New England Chest On Chest. c. 1780-1810, in the Chippendale-Federal Taste, Likely Massachusetts or Coastal Southern New England, Figured Mahogany, with stepped cornice, six graduated drawers each with molded drawer edges, period brass pulls with pierced plates and ivory escutcheons, resting on bracket feet with ornate scalloped detailing. Wear consistent with age and use, including wear to varnish on top, some minor repairs to transitional molding and checking to sides, 57” h. x 36” w. x 20” d.
